Point A London, Canary Wharf

We stayed here last October 2023. At the time, price was reasonable and the hotel room is decent and clean. This hotel is very close to Canary Wharf Station, and there’s a mall and restaurants close by as well. Now, if you are travelling with so much luggage, this hotel is probably not for you! Sometimes, I don’t understand how people review this place is too small - the rooms are small (read the size of the rooms when you’re booking please). If you are expecting a 5-star treatment, this hotel is also not for you because this basically a budget hotel. Also, please be aware - my understanding is that this hotel has two buildings (an old and a new “ish” one) and we stayed in the newer building. We also felt safe in the area since it was more like a financial district area. With all of that being said, my partner and I enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend this hotel to those who are travelling on a budget. But, if you’re travelling to be treated like kings and queens, this is not it! 🫠 Enjoy your trip to London! 💖

Stayed on business, but it was a bad experience, particularly with the Front Desk as they sneakily charged my credit card twice for the same night. Room is a shoebox. The place is still under construction.

I stayed here with my friend. We accidentally made a reservation for two nights instead of one. Later, we asked for a refund for the extra day due to our mistake, but they refused. After checking on Booking.com, I noticed that the price for two nights was £135, but I paid £176, which is an unreasonable difference. Additionally, the rooms are extremely small—you practically have to perform acrobatic moves to get past the bed. The storage spaces for your clothes are so inconvenient that they’re almost unusable. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Our night was ruined. I will leave this review on all platforms. Especially for Turkish travelers: do not be fooled by the location of this place, as it is far below the standards you would expect in Turkey. One last thing: there is a massive new construction site right next to the building, and the noise can be very disturbing.

Prime location for staying for office work

Unfortunately a very bad stay during a work trip. Reserved a room with no window on our online platform (no issue). Check was good and hotel is easy to find. Unfortunately my room was immediately next to the lift and corridor entrance, so all I heard all night was people coming in/out as the door clearly wasn't very thick. At about 23:30 upstairs then turned their TV on which was extremely loud and caused more noise. I called reception and unfortunately the only room available was a single bed, so I declined, not anyones fault but disappointing. I can understand why the hotel has good reviews, the room was fine and clean, staff friendly, and bed comfy. But my stay was awful as I didn't sleep. I also disagree with having to pay for tea/coffee at reception. So after this experience I wouldn't stay here again

The room was perfect for 2, including the price for it's central location . It was very clean and modern but also close to main stations like Elizabeth line and DLR. The reception was friendly and always helpful.

Very decent budget hotel. My room was surgically clean and all facilities worked. Rooms are very compact with just a bed and bathroom. No desk for a laptop to work. Building work to extend the hotel was in progress during my visit but there was no disturbance. Perfect location for Canary Wharf at reasonable cost. Staff were very helpful.

I have stayed here numerous times, but this Weds night will be the last. The room I was allocated is not safe or relaxing/restful for solo stay and additionally concerning being a solo female traveller. I arrived late in the day, and the only room left was room 502 (I think) next to front door in a separate building to the main one. There is no reception in that building, just a room pass key to access the main door. Late into the night, you can hear people coming & going. Group of men (post several drinks) being very loud in the corridor outside my room. At one point, someone was banging very loudly and persistently on the front door. I felt very unsafe. I hardly slept all night and was on edge, I got up early and got out of there. The room was very cold as when the front main door was opened a blast of cold air would come under the door. I had to put a towel along the bottom of my room door. Being generous with 2 stars as the room was generally clean and reception staff friendly. To Point A London: - add draft blocker to rooms along the entrance corridor. - do not put solo female guests in the rooms near front door. - do something to front main door in that separate building so the door is not as noisy when opening & shutting - add signs asking guests not to loiter in entrance corridor and to keep quiet late at night

Excellent connectivity. Near LNR and tube lines. Walkable to a various eateries. Very near the Dockland’s museum. Great value for money for the rooms, though do note they are very small and don’t have a fridge.

The room is really tight, gives capsule hotel vibes. Also we didn’t know there was construction work until after the booking, luckily we were out for most of the day. Staff were friendly. Doesn’t offer complimentary coffee and tea, you have to pay extra at the counter. Early check in is £15

Never write bad reviews, but this place was the worst 'hotel' ever. We were in room right next to the front door, so keept hearing it open and close loudly, throughout the night. There was no way to sleep so had to leave in middle of night. Receptionist was not helpful in anyway. Dirty shower floor. Thin walls. One pillow. Will never book again! Stay away, avoid.

I recently spent a week at this hotel during my vacation in London. This is a budget hotel but it is clean and comfortable (for the most part) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is close to the DLR, Elizabeth line and the Jubilee lines so very easy to get to from Heathrow airport. There is plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants that are easy to get to. The hotel does not offer laundry service but they did recommend a local pick up service Laundry Heap which I did use and was satisfied with their service. My only criticism's would be that the hotel does not provide wash cloths, only bath towels. Not sure why this seems to be a trend in some hotels. Secondly, it would be nice if they would provide a suitcase stand since they only provide hangers on the wall and some smaller shelves. And finally the fold up stool for the desk shelf they provide is very uncomfortable. Over all however for the price and location it is well worth it and I would stay there again.

Something really strange was going about their software. They cancelled my reservation twice. That was quite weird. I got a payment confirmation from Booking.com, and then in an hour or so, my order was cancelled by the hotel, ostensibly due to a payment issue. And there was enough money on my card. I missed some notifications from the app throughout a busy working day and was at reception at about 10pm just to discover i have no reservation. By that moment, I was a bit exhausted as the hotel was not easy to spot among roadworks and warehouses. The staff on the reception was extremely friendly and very helpful. They found a room for me, my card worked perfectly with them, and all was fine. The rooms are not big, but you will have almost all you may need for a one-night stand. Some beverages are available at reception, and they even supplied me with a decent iron. Many thanks to the reception team again.

The rooms were quite small but very functional and well thought out. Very clean too. I think a lot of inner city London hotels for this budget are like this from my experience. Service was great and so was the location. There was building going on nearby but that only happens in the day so it did not affect sleep.

Great reception, very helpful staff as I mentioned in the noteworthy details they are understanding and reasonable. Room was immaculately clean, there was a few hangers and tiny shelves to hang and put your stuff on. I stayed for 2 nights and spent all my time outside and only stayed in the hotel to sleep, which I think is important to mention this is a place to book if all you require is to sleep and shower. I would definitely say they should provide a waterbottle in the room, it's something tiny but definitely would make a big difference. Only complaint is that the walls are quite thin and I could hear people in the corridor and other rooms, but all the guests where quiet and noise wasn't an issue. Great location everything necessary is close by.
